bmwland is pretty good though to be honest I spend most of my time on the American forums these days. They seem to be more populated with people with Clue and less populated with people TALKING IN CAPS ABOUT HOW THEY IS GONNA GET M SPORT.
Which is the best forum for help/tips etc? Seen a few but not really sure which are the better ones from having a quick scan through.
These are the current ones...
Not sure what they are but it will say on the box I've got sitting in the boot.
I hate the current rear indicator bulbs! I presumed they were the philips silvervision?!
I hate the blue tint they have to them but having never fitted silvervisions ones I just presumed thats what you had to put up with if you didnt want orange. Will get some from halfords on the way to work if they sell them.
rkjoneill - ThanksNot too sure about how the photos turned out really, but I had to do something with them as I'd left the camera on the wrong settings so the originals were poo

So I test drove a Clio 182 and really didn't like the experience, I just couldnt see myself being happy for the next 18-24 months. After a couple of days and a couple of wasted journeys to pathetic garages where the salesmen don't know the difference between immaculate and a nail, I have a new car.
Spent a little more than I'd planned but it is something I will happily hang on to as it will easily outlast anything I was going to buy for less money.
2002 "51" plate BMW 330 CI Sport, Manual, 60k miles.
First Impressions... I love it. Seriously. I much prefer driving this than my old Z4. The interior really is a classy affair and everything just feels so much more expensive. The ride is superb, nowhere near as hard as the Z4 but gives so much more confidence when on uneven surfaces, cornering and pushing on. The DSC (first click) does seem to sap more power than the Z4 ever did and it doesn't feel as brutal or quick as the Z4, but refinement wise its on another level.
I loved the Z4 and Im glad I had one but lets just say that if I'd had driven one of these before I would have found the Z4 a little too hardcore(yes I know its no Lotus Elise but it wasn't the best place to be when the roof couldn't come down)
And please, no discussions about what I should have spent/done with my money etc.
Cost me £7400 in the end![]()
Recently had Goodyear Eagle F1's (front) and Vredestein ultrac sessanta (rear), Brembo discs and Zimmerman pads all around, just had a brake fluid change. 9000 miles until next service, 11 months MOT and 7 Month Tax, Full BMW Sytner service history. Insurance is about £300 a year cheaper too. Interior is superb, everyone I've shown has commented on the interior but I think thats down to the quality of the leather aswell. Couple of small scuffs and a cracked fog lamp but nothing £125 won't put right.
On with the photos....

Oh wait, its a BMW, so thats void.
Nice HDR pics, pretty good for a first attemptI need a tripod so I can start taking more photos like that.
Enjoy the 330Ci, I miss mine, great cars.
I'm seriously starting to consider a E46 330i over a 120/130i or Alfa GT V6.
tommo, your thread makes me want one even more!

Cheers guys.
As theres a lot of knowledgable people/owners in here I have a question.
Ive just driven for about 20 minutes, mixture of 30mph, 70mph, 40mph, not really stuck in any traffic. My heaters were only just starting to blow slightly warm and the temp guage (oil?) was only just on the edge of the blue. A quick google shows this could be a simple thermostat problem. Is it much of a job and has anyone had the same problem or is this normal? My Z4 warmed up very quickly and the heaters were blowing hot in no time.
