Bit of an over-reaction maybe?
It's the white text on black which I don't get on with it is just too harsh, books are black text on white which is much easier on the eye
The blue isn't as dark as the black background, so I find it a bit nicer

I dislike it also, the white font on a black background kills my eyes and I can still see the letters after looking away from the screen for a few seconds :/
