Itunes query

Wondering if anybody could help.

Friend of mine has split up with his her boyfriend and has a lot of purchased music on his laptop that she bought through itunes (They shared an account)

Is there any way that she could set up a new account in her name on her new laptop and transfer the purchased music from the old laptop onto the new one so that it will still play ? If that makes sense.

Is you friend not gender specific?

His/her computer can be authorised as 1 of 5 computers with the account, so the music purchased can be shared across 5 machines. This is fine to work in conjunction with an additional itunes account. Who actually holds the card?

If the ex was feeling a bit malicious they could deauthorise all computers though...

Just read original post,what a tool.HER boyfriend !!His card,his itunes account but she has stuff that she bought on his account.So in order to make her stuff play on her new account all she has to do is authorise it ?
