Meh!

Got food poisoning, first time i been to this pub and the food wasnt actually bad at all!

Struggling now though, been 2 days and the pain is a killer.

Anyone else here had this before? Any ideas on how long it takes to get over it?

I have been to the doctors but they suggest i sleep it off, easy to say but the pain is making me stay awake.

Needless to say ive contacted the Council already.
 
Yeaa, never nice..mine only really lasted a couple days though :( (if eating a bad bacon sandwich counts as food poisoning :p)

With it being such a rare condition it's hard to say, but my extensive medical training would lead me to speculate anywhere between 1 week and 7.5 years

Not sure if it is food poisoning or rumbling appendicitus ive had lots of before, either way if its anything like rumbling appendicitus then its not nice at all.
 
It was the worst experience in my life.

It took about a week with medication.

After I saw the 2nd doctor! The first one gave me pills to block my arse and it was thee most painful thing having to crap but can't crap so just sitting on the pan screaming for sweet mercy...

me aswell, my response wasnt called for just the pain is doing my head in, sure i asked to die last night a couple of times!

Docs have put me on Co-Dydramol 500mg however i havnt manage to get them as i wasnt sure after she said it might make me feel worse.
 
Sit on the bog and hold a bucket near ur face, and dont look what comes out either end lol. too much guinness.

It will pass tho so we can joke :).

or just take a swig of gaviscon u big girl..

try having a hernia operation and then taking mass amounts of cocodamel and brushing off the warnings from doctor about constapation. Its pain but also extreme annoyance! Prunes became my saviour
 
I had food poisoning 2 weeks ago, the pain was awful kept me up for 4 days. I found that a hot water bottle helps, I ended up burning my stomach as the burning was less painful and took my mind of the internal pain!

At least it was pain killers no? Mine were far from pain killing. Pain inducing! :eek:

They asked for a stool sample and they got about 4 drops of yellow bloody ...stuff.

Prompt reply was "yeah you got food poisoning, your first doctor gave you what!?"

I had to run to the toilet during the appointment! lol Stuck in the toilet for all most another hour and he actually asked "is he ok in there?" Ah... to be ill.

like this, done this aswell! I managed to run a hot bath around 8 times from 12 till about 6:30am. got to sleep for 2 hours and then was awake again.

Lucky im off work on annual leave. We where going to take the little one to chester zoo today, she is a bit upset as we have been talking about it for a few week and i feel bad lol!

Hopefully im alive on Firday, i said i would try take her.
 
I had some from Pork Meatballs (silly me) was sick that morning at 3am and it lasted about 3 days. I dragged myself to college still, wasn't very productive, couldn't eat and felt uncomfortable but £30 is £30, innit? Was great on Thursday 'cuz I could lie in bed as no more college.

I m glad I didn't have it while at college cos I used to drive :| that would have been a pain in the arse

Yes me to. She stayed at my moms last night so had no idea how bad i was. My Missus picked her up this morning and gave her the bad news...not good.

Hopefully im okay then, sleep however i cannot seem to do as the pain is pritty bad.
