Tell me about it, I have just cancelled my pre-order for good. Its now only 3 working days until the game is released in the UK and there has been no news of anyone getting it early. The way they were going on in those emails you would think they were shipping 1-2 weeks in advance.

I am probably going to pick this up when its quite a bit cheaper, I have been waiting years for it anyway so another few months will not matter. There are those rumours that the supermarkets will be doing deals as well.

Mine still hasn't been despatched from Game :(. Wish I'd gone for express delivery now, just incase it gets sent out by the end of today.

Oh well at least the FA Cup quarters are this weekend, should keep my mind off the anguish of having to wait for FF13 while all you jammy gits are playing it early.
 
No word on if mine has been dispatched :( tbh I don't expect it to be dispatched until 2moz and the earliest. I have next thurs and fri off so game time will be then... that said if i get it sat I won't complain :D

Mines been despatched so should hopefully arrive tommorow if it does well i hope fits through letterbox if it comes saturday im in so will sit downstairs like a big kid waiting for the post :D
 
Think I will be chopping bio shock 2 in for it. Thought id get on with bio shock but really don't so might as well give this a go.
 
Hey guys, i'm just wondering if i should get this game for the Xbox or the PS3, i'm really into my achievement score so i would like it on my xbox. However the PS3 version is meant to look better cutscene and gameplay wise which i would like, but is there that much of a difference ? already pre-ordered on the PS3 but i can cancel... would appreciate any replies.

The CGI cutscenes will be full 1080p and uncompressed sound for the PS3 version and one disc obviously, and also apparently from some sources, graphically it looks to be sharper and cleaner than the Xbox 360 version. But honestly, unless you have a decent TV, sound system and just good eyes or hearing, I doubt it barely makes much of a difference for most people.
 
The reviews will start coming in from 12.00am tonight, and you can bet there will be comparisons made between the platforms. You can decide then.
