I was just thinking this.
Have you never noticed before that your eyes are different colours?

, as stupid as this may sound. It was only a few years back I noticed ( up until then I just assumed they were brown ), and it wasn't until I was looking up Heterochromia in Huskys recently I noticed that picture. I hadn't thought It was too unique !!.They don't give me cool nightvision though
.
Possibly like me, I knew my eyes were multi coloured, I just never knew there was a name for that. I assumed it was just one of the many normal variations of eye colour.

My eyes turn yellow in the sunlight.
they are normally dark brown, but the lense in my eyes are too thin.. it does not effect my vision but what it does allow is the light to heat the pigment in my eyes.. turning it to a very vivid dhiorrhia yellow lol.
Almost like Eugene Victor Tooms in xfiles!
I was taken to an optician, but can't remember the name of my condition. Its pretty rare though, and takes at least a couple of hours outside in the sun.
I freak people out.
If anyone can remember or knows the name for this i'll give you a cookie! Cause I forgot.

Yup, got the central one - brown ring (hurr) round the pupil, then a fairly separate largely blue/grey iris.
My eyes were bright blue as a child - I do wonder whether the central brown will eventually grow outwards heading towards hazel and eventually brown eyes ^_^

Did you have blonde hair as a kid that's turned darker too? Only I'm the same, bright blue when young, then gold flecks, now brown round the pupil. And my hair was really blonde as a kid, got progressively browner as I've gotten older.
Yup, I'm also one of those. Fair-ish mousey brown now.
I think my eyebrows must have turned dark first, or were never blonde in the first place - I remember being upset at our hairdresser for telling me that by the colour of my eyebrows, I'd grow out of my blonde hair.
It was the truth, though
