Aussie revenge flick The Horseman is now out on DVD and Blu-ray.

Has anyone managed to catch this yet? It really is the best low-budget revenge flick in recent memory. If you're a fan of the genre, get out and grab it - you can't be disappointed.

The plot basically follows a father who has just lost his daughter to a drugs overdose receiving a porno video chronicling her final hours. He then heads off to track down and deliver vengeance to all involved. Peter Marshall is nothing short of extraordinary in this - so many scenes where he fully delivers a man consumed with both grief and rage. When you're nearly tearing up at the image of a man beating and screaming at another person, you know you're on to something special.

Go buy it! LOL.

Seriously, it's a fantastic film. Picture wise you're not losing much between Blu-ray and DVD as the film itself is a very low-key affair. The only thing missing on the DVD is a 10-odd minute short film which was like a practice run for the start of the film. It's interesting enough, but once you see the film itself, the short just seems very *****y.

I don't care how you do it - DVD, Blu-ray, download, whatever - just get back to me and let me know what you think. It's been over 6 months that I've been waiting to hear how other people feel about this flick!
