At the usual place, got a good laugh with him comparing the big daddy prototype to the finished version. :D

mmm a lot of his reviews are pretty bland, but I'd have to say... that one was spot on!
There are WAY too many games doing this these days.

I'd have to say it was pretty damn accurate. Much like his comments about becoming a quantity surveyor on Mass Effect 2. Its enjoyable in itself but nowhere as good as the original (BS2 that is).

The other question is how do you use an Eve Hypo by putting the injection in the same arm you use Plasmids with when you're other hand is holding a huge gun.

I just wish there wasnt a stupid extra embed on the video *grumble grumble*..extra mouse click I couldve done without, that's for sure..

anyway, yes good review. Weekly dose of ZP taken :p

Swearing in it, not risking a suspension thats why its not even allowed to be linked to, that being said it seems to depend what mod sees it if they deem it allowable or not. I got suspended in the past for linking it yet others havn't...

Bioshock and borderlands review are spot on, only thing I disagree with on the ME 2 review is the getting rid of the old gun system. Upgrades being made intergral to how the game plays, and forcing the need to be the quantity surveyor is FAR worse than a natural storyline and the age old method of buying better guns as and when you can afford them. Reducing quantity and increasing sell price would have made it far simpler.

When you upgrade kit and can't see any noticeable difference because the enemies scale up as you upgrade, makes it feel completely unrewarding. Everything else he said was spot on though, its a shame ME2 felt so much smaller and less epic, in universe size and level design, first game was epic start to finish in every way.

Shame Bioshock 2 sucks so badly, can't bring myself to finish it after getting utterly bored with it.

Well, here at least, I have to click an image of the player to get it to display a big BC2 advert with the actual video in the middle..pointless extra click in my honest opinion (plus it means i also have to play around with noscript before it'll actually display the video :p)

aaaanyway.. /pointless complaints

Oh my god an extra click!

Somebody pad my brows before the acid sweat from my forehead singes them away oh noes!

Having completed the game a week ago, I can honestly say he described most of my gripes about the game. In particular the closing sentiment, this is definitely not a game that's more of the same from the original. 2K sucked the original game's adam dry, shot themselves up with it then crapped out the end result into a dvd case. I can't believe that I wasted my precious time with this game. Life is too bloody short to play crap like this.

I've played the game a few hours, seems quite samey. With BS1 I took it on the chin as it was a good story and the first time it had been done. Playing BS2 I don't know if I have the motivation to finish it.

Yahtzee's review seems quite spot on so far, especially with the whole "2K use Adam like George Lucas uses the force as 'a universal plot hole filler'".
