260gtx sli TO 280gtx sli worth it ?

having just seen the 280's on at £160 I was wondering if Iwould see a worthwhile improvment going for 2 of them over my 260's , what do you guys think
 
According to your sig you already have them. :D

I wouldn't have thought you'd see 'that' much of a gain, maybe more in things like benchmarking. Two 260's in sli are a great value for performance set-up and not a lot rivals it for the money.
 
Completely not worth spending £320 to go from GTX260 SLI to GTX280 SLI. Even if thats £160 for both cards its still a lot of money for a fairly minor boost.

I would save your money with an eye to moving to a DX11 card in the near(ish) future.

LOL oh yes I hadnt noticed that in my sig damn, my bro made that for me I'll have to get him to edit it for me now :)

I dint think I would see a huge gain from the 280's actually so guess I'll stick with my very trusty 260's :)
 
Only upgrade if you game at high res, that's where the 280 really pulls away from the 260.
