Yes, very very similar situation. Met a hottie from work (who started only a couple of days ago) at a train station, instead of sitting next to her I sat a few feet away with my mate and only asked her a few questions and rather than joining her for the journey I just sat somewhere else. Also stupidly looked away when we had eye contact after a sec at start

I completely fail with girls I find pretty and don't know too well ( and after I know them, eg. occasionally do stuff with them as going along to town or to some food joint, have their number, etc I still act like an idiot, just not such a big idiot as when I barely or not know them) . While with girls I don't particularly fancy I'm usually myself. Should be the other way around .
