Ah well I'll still keep my GTX260![]()
It was running at a 960 core, but your 260's are clocked though arn't they?

We all know how good they are. In fact overclocked like yours are, they match or better a gtx295.Rroff must do some 3d gaming or something, else I'm sure he would have sold off his 260's for OC'd 5850 giving him the same performance, less heat, less power, less noise & DX11
And used the left over cash to put against getting an SSD...
pretty funny fanboy stuff, so you turn off the benchmarks biggest feature, overclock your card by 18% and its faster than a gtx 480!
pretty much the same as saying run the infamous batman game turn phsyx on and a 8800gt is faster than a 5870

OC'd 5850 = 260 SLI performance, really...?

Rroff likes and needs his CUDA otherwise I am sure he would.

Depends - overall they slightly out perform a 5870 but in some cases like crysis they are close to the 5850.

Never, 260s in SLi are around 295GTX speeds, and the 295 is around 5870 performance if not a little more, especially when clocked.
I won't be rushing out to get a 400 series card, my plan is to either wait til I need DX11 or the nVidia refresht

^^^
Lol! You obviously haven't worked out that a 5850 can clock way past the speed of a stock 5870!
Research better next time please...
