Ok I'm going to attend this one. Photography meet anyone? March 7th?

just had a look through my photos in indoor light and i'm really happy with the shots under the festival theatre with the bikers. But will get a better idea of things when i'm home again. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's efforts from the day.

Oh forgot to ask, susan how come your battery died so early?

oh and guys I logged our locations today so I have a kml and gpx output so I'll upload it later onb if anyone wants to geotag their photos :) Ill also post a link later

Sorry I had to cut it short at the end, I was frozen stiff and the leg was getting sore so thought it best I called it a day.

looking forward to the next one, in warmer conditions please :)

think a new thread should be started for the pics.
 
Hello guys, I'm on the train and have been dozing on and off in this warm train! It's been a great day out and big thanks to Phate for getting the ball rolling, giving Richard and I a lift from the station (with some added drama too!) And Oxygen, for being the tour guide, excellent locations shown and a a lot of opportunities for pictures :)

Great putting faces to forum names too!

I might process some shots when I'm back and had a good shower - or just plonk in bed and sleep till 10mins before my 9am-3pm lectures! Looking forward to seeing all your shots!
 
Oh and cool shots SS! That 135mm is a mean lens for capturing those shots. Sharp and I like the post processing. Just looked through my shots and I'm thinking meh :/

Oh and +1 on the comments about nick's photos. They look good on my phone so i'll look forward to seeing them on screen.
 
Cracking day though very good despite the nice sunshine we had!

Great putting faces to all you people here, thanks to Phate for getting the ball rolling on the meet and Oxygen for being a great guide around the places, think we managed to do quite well!

Gonna start having a look through my pics in a bit - cracking start from SS though! Love that style of processing

Make sure the next one is in a warmer season! I came down from Hull, in 3 layers, jacket and a pair of gloves and I was still cold! That millennium bridge froze my right ear!

Great idea there Shi. Was so tempted to copy your idea, leaning against that board :p
