The BEST 911 GT3 RS Road Test

I keep coming back to this and Delecour's insistence on taking one hand off the steering wheel when emphasizing a point whilst simultaneously performing some startling driving is simply awesome.

I do love the car - it's immense - but the driver makes the video with the help of the car, not the other way around.

This is bloody brilliant. I'd love to see a series of legends with Harris, stick them in some recent impressive machinery and hit the road or track... Rorhl,Tsuchiya, HJ Stuck, Ludwig, Bell etc etc.

Just need a few more cameras, I'd love to know exactly what Delecour does when Harris says he can't explain what he just did.

Cars not bad either ;)

Good video BUT legendary?? If any other 'normal' person posted driving like this on public roads you'd be slating them right now for being irresponsible and dangerous.

Throw an expensive car and someone recognisable and the OCUK motors forum is almost whacking one out over it.

Ridiculous Hypocrisy.

Probably because Francois Delecour has more driving talent in his little finger than the forum as a whole.

So what you're saying is that it's cool as penguins **** to go 100mph + down your local B road, getting the tail end out of corners so long as you're race proven??

Lol.

If you read carefully, I didn't condone it. I offered an explaination as to why someone who fits carpets for a living may be lambasted for driving like that and a Rally Pro wouldn't be.

What's your view on this? Considering you are know to drive 'enthusiastically'.

Hahaha, I love this video. I know he's driving like a bit of a tit, but he seems completely in control, undeniable epic levels of skill there.

Personally it'd put a grin on my face just to be within earshot of it. Anyway, good video.

It also helps as well that he was a tarmac rally specialist

He was brought in on the likes of rally corsica, monte carlo especially.

Thus you'd expect him to be completely at home on the roads he knows locally, spanking a proper race car like the GT3 RS.

You only have to look at how long his career spanned to realise the guy has talent. I dont expect we'd critize any professional rally driver with nearly 20 years of driving on tarmac rallys for driving like that.

Wow... just wow, it's a shame there weren't any external camera's as I bet you could have had some epic drivebys!
