*** Final Fantasy XIII ***

I got my dispatch email on Sunday, I'd figured I wouldn't get it until tomorrow. I was secretly hoping to see a signature-shaped brown package on the side when I got home from work, however. No such luck.

Still, it's funny to hear people complaining about how their pre-order "failed" to get to them before the actual release day...

Happy to hear some positive user input regarding the opening few hours. Can't wait for tomorrow now! Shame I'm working pretty solid atm.

Unlimited use anytime you want in battle. If you ever played FFX-2, it's just like the Job System in that, only much quicker and more streamlined to use.
 
I have 3 set paradigms at the moment

Top one all out offence 1 com 2 rav
2nd one 2 offence one medic which i switch too when low on health
3rd one i don't use much only on big bosses when i want one person to take most of the hits so i get someone to pull

battle system is quite nice
 
The 2 paradigms I use the most are slash and burn (great for combos) and Ying and yang (great to and still kick butt).

When I went into the games shop on my road (its a small one run by 2 guys) they had both the ps3 and 360 run side by side on the same panasonic plasmas (same tv as mine) and the ps3 does look a lot better. The FMVs don't have any compression artifacts on them.
I bought it on the 360 due to them having a spare copy (and I'm buying them a pint at the pub next sunday) and they told me that if I traded it in within the next 2 weeks I could have red dead for £17.00 instead of £39. Good deal I IMO too bad red dead has been delayed till may :-\

Picking it up tomorrow, have read so many reviews but not letting them bring me down!

Got a ps3 last week and this will be the 10th game in my ever-growing collection of the best games on ps3 :D

Just need time to play them all now, ffXIII being the priority of course hehe

if it's tomorrow you might as well go to the stores, my friend on the 360 forums is confirming a tesco £25 price, he says if you phone up they will say 34.98 but the tills have it for £25.... don't shoot the messenger however

All the ads in today's papers said £37.41 iirc. Housemate's going to grab at midnight shortly so will find out.
 
Eargerly awaiting, not sure if i should go on a trip to my local ASDA or Tesco... Tesco is a good few more miles away.
 
No shop near me is open midnight for this game, what the.....fluff. I live right next to Broadmead and Cabot Circus in Bristol as well.

Tesco Extra is like 3 miles away :/
 
Just got back from going to a 24 hour asda to pick this up (90 minute walk altogether ffs) and they don't have it?? I asked why not and their reply was basically "dunno lulz". Grrr.
 
No one got it yet? I've not played it yet as I don't live with my GF just yet so I'll have to wait a while (can't see her next weekend so I'll have to do it the weekend after) but she got it yesterday (just went over to the 9th) on the 8th. Tip for any online orderers, the hut is a great place to order. Generally get stuff a day or two before they are released.
