*** Final Fantasy XIII ***

mine was sent by game on friday so hopefully i will receive it today if not there goona get a snotty email sent to them about it due to they emailed everyone who had pre-order with them saying they would be sending them out earlier due to the ammount of orders they had
 
I thought parcel force got you to sign for stuff. Still cheers for the reassurance mines is at the same status so il sit and try and be patient :)
 
Excuse my ignorance about the FF series. But I have never played a FF game before.

Is this worth picking up? I played WoW for about 4 years and loved it, is FF a similar type game? Is it an MMORPG?

Not this one, it's very much a sinlge player story driven game.

Maybe wait for FFXIV.

bought it from a green supermarket for £35 at 1am and played it round a mates until about 9am, absolutely stunning game, first one i've been able to get in to since no.7
 
Im tempted to get this game.. I have really only played FF10 and liked that a lot and put loads of gametime into it but i heard this game is very different from that fighting ways??

ff13 is a sp rpg game (ff7 and ff8 are 2 of the best rpg games in history after the original 2 fallouts :p)

FF14 which is out some time soon is a mmprpg though so maybe wait for that?
 
Woop mine just arrived :D good job i waited for it cause way GAME packed it was no chance it would have fit through letter box they went ott on the packaging.
 
Well if peoples from game aint arriving maybe their is a pattern, If people who had theirs posted on thurs should have really arrived yesterday and didnt till today so to people who got it posted fri from their maybe will arrive tommorow ? Unless your royal fail lost it if so get to asda!

Mine was posted Thursday, still not here. Never pre-ordering again from GAME, although I said that to myself after the DJ Hero debacle!
 
ah okay unlucky even more so then =/ GAME tbh 9 times outta 10 fine for me, Give them a ring see what they say OR depending how much moola you have and how badly you want it go get it from town or something a return games copy under dsr
 
I just spoke to game, they were dispatched on the 4th, but held at games request by royal mail etc. And held until Sunday the 7th before being released. So that people wouldn't receive them to early.

My post man has been and gone. and my copy hasn't arrived yet, hence the reason I phoned them.

But I can't blame them for holding the orders back, as they can be penalized if there customer's receive them to early.

I'm not THAT fussed because I can't really touch it until the weekend anyway, but my housemate went and grabbed it last night and now I've got Final Fantasy fever :p. Need to resist it until the weekend though, when I can properly binge it :D.
