Can you swap the power leads as suggested above could be a fuse.

Recheck the front panel connections are plugged into the motherboard correctly.

Should this motherboard have an LED on it to show power connected?

If so and its not on, then its not the way you have plugged it in.

Swap the power cords between your monitor and the computer.

This will rule out a blown fuse, if the monitor power light flashes, then you know that the lead is ok, use this on your pc and try turning on.

Check the fusebox trip switch. I did this once plug was in the wall, power switch on nothing till the mrs came home and said the tv wasnt working.

Dose the psu have a light on it? If you have another computer you could try testing it on that.

I've never seen a PSU with an LED? THat's odd.

How about Motherboard LED? This has been asked already, probably.

If it is plugged in at the wall. :p you could try disconnecting the front USB posts from the Motherboard, and even disconnect the HDD and CD/DVD drives too.
I've had all three of those stop a PC booting in the past, so it's worth a try.

you probably have a pci-e lead plugged in to the 8 pin 12v
disconnect everything just use the 24 pin power lead connect that and try each 8 pin lead in the 8 pin socket til you get the lights

Did you mount the motherboard on the standoffs? Just a q as in one of the pics the standoff that is in the case looks higher than the motherboard. But it may be the angle of the picture.
