Yes, as you get more tags from the same player, it goes through bronze, silver and presumably gold. Not sure what the number is for each level.

I didn't look... I'm level 18 and I got one today, and there aren't that many people who are more than a few levels above me. Also, people who start playing now would get loads of silver badges. I didn't notice if they were top of the score board either.
And it's not just because I got more tags... According to my stab history, the most I've stabbed any one person is twice, but it says that I've only stabbed these guys once each.
what really does my head in is the other team moaning about balance, i say fair enough when i die i will join, i join, and there all (put swear word here) SNIPERS, no one in the tanks, no one pushing forward, so we get no where and loose that round.
next round were on defence, no one knows what to do as there all rank 3-7 on my team, only about 3 of us above 15, the other team nearly all 15 to 20 something

That is a pain. My team switched to yours (defenders) and just left 10 snipers and me on my team ... cant wait until that fix auto balance and give admins the power to make people switch sides.
email EA support or use the live chat thing though the helper usually doesnt speak english very well
but its how I got my games addedThat would be my guess too. More likely to happen in a community than random playing.

I think it is bronze when you kill someone under level 20 and silver when above level 20... maybe gold level 40-49 and level 50 platinum??? That is just guessing above silver... I'm almost certain it's not just collecting tags and them accumulating to better tags though.

Do snipers have large amounts of health or is thier ghillie suits made of reinforced steel or do they have a personal shield, the reason i ask, im able to kill all the other classes at about the same range with a clip of ammo and yet snipers always seem to survive even had 1 about 1ft away and i emptied a full clip into him and got no hits showing at all.

They are probably just more likely to have the extra body armour pack than other classes, which might go for more accuracy or bigger magazines? Or maybe you are imagining it?

Hmm the XM8 Prototype is pretty powerful and is one of the first weapons to get.
Also, rifle grenades = easy kill
M4 damage isn't even that high... it's just the accuracy which makes it lethal. I haven't seen too many M4s around eitherAnd Oizu, hardcore conquest is the most popular choice?

I played competative rifles only CoD2, so the idea of a one hit kill weapon makes me rage when I don't have it. It's also near impossible to kill someone who's using it at moderate range when you're using the XM8. Same goes when you're against a medic with an M60 when you have any other weapon.
Oddly enough, I still think the best and most balanced map is the map that was in the Beta. The other maps always have really boring/spammy/sniper-promoting areas of lame and fail.

We switch back and fore between the 2. We just decided between our selfs on vent what mode we play.

I wish they would hurry up and patch it a bit, make the M60 less powerful, reduce sniper power and sort out connectivity and spurious goings on in the server and friends list.
sniper riffles are fine just too many people play the class but a lot of the lmgs need some tuning
