Steam user here, i can see pings when i do a full search, but if i type uk into the search box and search then it only shows pings as 999. Any ideas?

Yep running as admin steam bc2 exes.
 
no friends list for me and then no EA connection either :mad::mad:

Yeah just not working all i get is waiting for data and that spinning circle really annoying me atm :(
 
try going to your history and adding the server from there. I could never add the TFU server to my favourites list from the main browser, but when I went to my history page (which only had about 20 servers in) it only took a few seconds of loading after selecting it to be a favourite.
 
The only server I have managed to add as a favourite is the TFU server using this

Start> Documents > BFBC2 > GameSettings > Scroll all the way down to Favourite games and copy + paste this right after the equals, so, no spaces between the equals and this:

1649006985,3e787009-d900-4559-9c62-5812c26ba483,Multiplay.co.uk HARDCORE | =TFU= clan |OCUK;

uhm.. just have an all night sesh until you start to get a feel for it, **** it if you keep dying you will soon get the hang of it and be owning fools ;)

oh and! sometimes you might think "damn i just used every last bit of ammo on him and he didnt die" but then shoots you with one bullet from a pistol and your a gonner. lol
seems to be a common problem as well, just switch teams and that should fix it.

Can someone who has all 3 of the ocuk servers post a copy of the gamesettings.ini file which is located in my documents\bfbc2\

This would allow us to add them to both favourites and recent games without having to use the in-game server browser!

what really does my head in is the other team moaning about balance, i say fair enough when i die i will join, i join, and there all (put swear word here) SNIPERS, no one in the tanks, no one pushing forward, so we get no where and loose that round.

next round were on defence, no one knows what to do as there all rank 3-7 on my team, only about 3 of us above 15, the other team nearly all 15 to 20 something:mad::mad::mad:

I wondered that too.. I assume it's due to the knife-ee being significantly higher rank than the knife-er?
 
Are Steam in cahoots with EA? Steam wont even start up for me now! "Unable to connect to Steam network. There may be a problem with your network connection"

Gah!
