Was playing this last night yes I'm kid...

It seemed to consume an enormous amount of memory a whole 6 gigs in fact.

Surely that cant be right?

6 gigs of what? Memory or hard drive space?

Post your task manager.

If it is RAM, then it probably shouldnt.

If its hard drive, so what. I have a game here which takes up 15.

My apologies, sometimes you just presume everyone knows what you are talking about. It takes up 6 gigs of ram. I wouldnt be concerned about HD space but 6 gigs of ram seems excessive, was just wondering if anyone else had played this yet and if they had a similar experience.

@Strife212

Ive played American McGees but no it wasn't that one it was the latest one thats come out for the film.

@Lysander

I cant do a screen shot now but in Process manager it shows the Game taking up 6 gigs of ram and also shows this on the desktop gadget aswell.

I have 8 gigs of ram and it shows as me having just over a gig left when I fire up the game.

The desktop gadget just shows how much RAM is being used overall, not per application.

My vote still goes on Superfetch. Either way, I don't see what the problem is.

Its not a problem, however this game is clearly aimed at a family market and what average family pc has 6 gigs at its disposal and then some for the OS etc.:eek:

you can get ones that show it for the top 5 processes etc.

Does it not crash when it goes into that much memory?

I'm surprised a film game is actually large address aware or 64 bit :confused:

No the two games are being confused.

The alice in wonderland I am currently playing is a new release due to launch soon and coincide with the release of the film.

I am not reffering to the

2000 edition of American McGees alice in wonderland.

They are 2 completely seperate games.

The reason that there is lack of info on the new version is its nt out for release just yet.

So again, How is a game aimed at a family expected to run when it takes up a full 6 gigs of ram. I would post a screen shot however Im at work right now.

This version of the game

so;

a) you're admitting to piracy
b) you're basing the retail performance on a pirate copy.

Awesome.

OWNED.

Either post the disc/case with a loaf of bread or be permabanned.

Noob.

I hate people like you who think it is OK to take anything they like just because it is there.

Any noob can go online and pirate a game, takes a complete tool to then go and post for support about said unreleased game on a public forum.
