alice takes up 6 gigs?

No, I'm still here but not about to get into a moral discussion about pirating dvd', games or software I'm sure everyone here is extremely moral and wouldn't dare copy a song, film, software or game. To those of you who fall into this category congratulations you can all sleep with a clear conscience.

I wasn't posting for assistance more posting to gauge weather people felt a game could consume 6 gigs of memory, either way it didn't bother me weather it took a full 8 gigs or 1 gig.

I'll continue to enjoy playing the game whilst you lot natter about how indignant it is.

Irregardless of our indignation, morals and clear consciences, discussing pirated software is against the forum rules.

it's not that.,

But if the game is a pirate one it's impossible to know if this is normal, a weird new anti piracy measure, or a badly made .exe

I presume it could be either of those 3 really, anyways without opening a whole can of worms I think this thread is now better left alone.

I allways do, but thank you anyway.

I pay for my games.

Check the places where you have downloaded the game from for help, on here you'll immediately get all kinds of rubbish from the small percentage who says they never pirate a thing. And it's against the forum rules so some dons who are also against piracy will try to suspend you.

It's a minority, but unfortunately, they're louder than the ones not on the moral high ground. I've learned long ago it's impossible on this forum to discuss something even remotely related to piracy. I just gave my opinion once and have been suspended for a day for it even though teh rules say nothing about giving your opinion or thanking someone for some info.

No links or requests for "warez"
Providing or asking for information regarding "warez", "gamez" or any other software protected by copyright is forbidden. This includes discussion of 'chipped' or modified games consoles.

I certainly didn't break any of the above rules, but some don still thought I was wrong and suspended me because I thanked someone for posting a link to a warez site.

On OcUK it's best to keep to yourself about piracy because the few people who are against it are likely to go on a personal crusade against anyone saying they don't care and pirate stuff...
