Definately wait till fermi comes out if you want to stay nvidia. Otherwise if you want something now go for the 58xx series.

Got to say that that combo looks VERY expensive for 'old' tech . IMO got to be either 5800 series (5850 + 9800gt ??) or . if you have to stick with nvidia ,at least wait until fermi is released.

Wait for the GTX 400 series if you want to stick with Nvidia, or go with a 5850, similiar price but nearly double the performance. If you plan to go SLi then a 600w PSU would do nicely, although I have heard from rumours the 400 series are quite power hungry...

Well im looking to buy the samsung 2233rz very soon and ive heard that the ATI drivers are cack for it so im pretty much forced to get a nvidia card when i upgrade, guess we have to wait and see how the prices of the fermi cards are.

cmon guys, i hate when people get labelled fanboys. so what if a person likes a particular brand, its called brand loyalty which usually comes from good experience, if the guy wants nvidia then help him out rather than having a dig... but anyway if you are that struck on nvidia then id definately wait for the fermi cards to be released. because if youre still not convinced then you should still find a slight price drop in the card youre looking at...

go on my son! :p
i do agree though, wait for the new cards.

Hi all ;)

First post here, wanted to sign up as im currently selling my 9800gt's and im looking for something better, worthwhile for the upcomming game releases.

Looking at the Hybrid 275, looks like a decent card, perhaps better in Sli in the near future. What are your thoughts on these cards? And what sort or PSU would these need in a SLi setup?

Cheers

Its a £280 card that comes with a £140 worth of performance. A pair in SLI will be probably be very buggy. If you must have Nvidia then wait and see what the re brand brings.

BTW Fermi might bring prices down, but you wont be able to buy one...

Expensive for what it is, I wouldnt bother, you can get a seperate gts250 for <£90 if you want great performing physx and you can add that any time. Wait for fermi, only 2 weeks.

Antec900, welcome to the forums :) I wouldn't worry too much about people like Ravenxx2. He's probably just having a bad hair day :p Unfortunately, he won't be the last of his type you'll encounter. Thankfully though, I think well over 95% of forum members here are very nice people so don't take things to heart :)
