I put this up a couple of pages back, trouble is with this thread the useful stuff gets lost very quickly. Might be to do with image size as well as url length:
Dunno if it's any use to you but if you are going to use this as a server banner it has to be certain sizes etc or it won't work:
The banner in Bad Company 2 should be:
•Dimension: 512x64
•Format: jpg, png or gif
•File Size: Under 127KB
•URL Length: Less than 64 characters

Yeah i did see it mate, the characters were less that 64, they should have also said that you cant have multiple file locations
eg:
For example one that works is BannerUrl=http://static.multiplayuk.com/images/servers/bfbc2-dice-svr.png
One that might not work is
BannerUrl=http://static.multiplayuk.com/images/images/images/images/longaddress/servers/bfbc2-dice-svr.png

The banner fitted into these restraints just fine but at the moment I don't think anyones banner is working so probably ferking around with it wasn't the best idea I ever had.
I have a serious problem, when I try to play the game, I cannot get the mouse or keyboard to work properly on this PC, it just keeps going backwards, I have installed it on another PC and its fine, I just dont understand it.
I cannot play the game on this PC at all, which is not a lot of good as this rig is a lot more powerful than the other machine, this 4870x2 4ghz quad, other [email protected] and 3870x2.
Anyone have any idea's...
I have re-installed and took everything out of registry still the same.
Rung EA turned out it does not like my G25 plugged in, even though it was not powered up, bit of a pain as I like it plugged in as I play GTR2 a lot.

Looks unlikely, since the upgrade I get severe lag problems? It says my ping is 66, but I run somewhere and then drift back two paces as it catches up. And no one else is having the problem, so don't know how to fix it.

The rubber-banding effect lag is probably server lag more than your actual connection screwing up , I would expect this until after tomorrows maintenance if it doesn't lag think of it as a good thing

New problem for me is Ventrillo wont work while im in game, was working last night
Do you mean it won't let you talk while in-game?
If so then you need to run Ventrilo as Administrator and it will work , somebody else had this problem last night.
I know Lyon also has trouble with Ventrilo randomly locking up and then he hears loads of speach come through at once.

I thought that, but your server I get awesome pings usually, so tried out another server and got the same rubber band thing (is that what it is called?).
Will have to give it a rest till tomorrow after the F1 and see if I can play
In the mean time I am looking for an SSD to speed up map loading times. I think having 2gib of Vram actually makes it slower loading
