Yea same here, and I absolutely loathe the Nissan Micra with a vengeance (bad experiences!) ...also the fact he has an E39 with Alpina wheels makes me just assume he must be a a real top chap; witty, well spoken, devastatingly handsome and in possession of a towering intellect. That's the later bubble shape. Depends on the gearbox, it's probably a 3-speed with comedy gear ratios. Given that my 1.0 Nova did 0-60 in just over 14 seconds with 45bhp I'd guess something similar for a 60bhp 1.2 slushmatic Micra.

Doesn't reach 60 I bet.

Much like my mates daihatsu hijet, top speed of about 55 and it'd go wildly out of control at that speed

Unless the gearing is utter crap it'll do the legal limit no worries. The aforementioned 1.0 Nova was rated at 87mph with only 45bhp. And no, they hadn't dropped it off a cliff.
