Keyboards with red LED backlight?

Any cheaper options? dont want to spend like £60-70 on a keyboard
i was looking at the sidewinder x4 any views on that?

That caught my eye too. I had been looking at getting a G11 once we have got our holiday out the way in June but then I spotted the X4.

I have always liked MS hardware and this looks a bit less 'in your face' than the logitech boards. The price isn't much more, so hopefully I will be able to grab one when they are releases (no idea of ETA though).

Ive had a saitek eclipse, g15v1 and v2, g11, dell media and now the microsoft x6. The x6 is by far the nicest to use and type on and the HOLD key is ace for toggling buttons in games, ie crouch in bfbc2.

Oh yes, I dislike that aspect of the G15/G19 as well. (The G110 looks relatively plain in comparison - which I like)

I agree, the G110 looks so much better to me than the other G range but the price tag is too high for my taste/budget. It would be nice to get a hands on comparison between the G110 and the X4 to see if the the price difference is worth it.

That is the one i have been looking at, can the LED colour be changed to White? what about other possible colours?

I had a look at the MS product page but all it says is 3 levels plus off. If you look at the product tour it looks like it might be White(highest brightness), Blue (mid level) and then Red (low) but that could be down to my monitor settings and colour-blindness :p

All British English keyboards will have a double-height Enter key, it's just because most product pages use a photo of the US English versions, which tend to be single-height.

Yes, I noticed that myself when I got it. (Silly enUS layout)

In addition, the "normal" style of having Delete/Insert/Home/End/PageUp/PageDown isn't as complicated to adjust to as I thought it would be.
