the first movie is rubbish, i still am in shock people actually liked it. one of the most overrated films i have ever watched,.

The first films not too bad, the second one is just some massive love story between a girl and two guys. Very lame.

I watched it the other week to see what all the fuss was about, and it was bloody awful. I'd rather watch Miss Congeniality again.

I thought the first one was OK but nothing special. The second contains epic levels of crapness. But all the girls I know absolutely love it. Simple creatures, women.

Actually, when it first came out, hardly anyone knew what it was !!! It was about 1/10th the hype when the first Harry Potter movie came out. The whole thing snowed balled after the movie was released and it really got big during the impending release of New Moon. I mean before Twilight hardly anyone had heard of Robert Patterson or Kirsten Stewart. The movie itself got really mixed reviews and probably more bad reviews than good. So it's not overrated, it just has a LOT and I mean a LOT of fans who love the story, and these fans have already read the book so its not surprising that they love it.

Having not met the requirement of being a teenage girl with self esteem issues I didn't enjoy the film. It's based on books though I believe so yeah watching them in order would certainly be ideal.
