A chap from Nvidia is supposed to have let the launch price slip of $699

You can place a European pre order for 600 Euros but you might git hit for VAT and handling on top. Demand a availability will play a part with this card as Nvidia have hyped it up for so long.

I know its a bit of a bump - but got my hands on this (same size boxes) today and remembered the post - looks like you were right about the quantity in the boxes.
