I can oc my Sapphire 5970 OC to 1000 on the cores by using Afterburner. However, I don't see how to change the voltage on the Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X so I can't try for 1000 core on that one too. When I use the AMD tool it only changes the voltage to the 5970 ... (probably a primary card thing ..).

As it is I am having to live with 920 on the 3 GPU cores with stock 5870 GPU volts and TBTFH, I ain't losing much with 1000/1000/920 but I know the extra is there and I want it - I am too used to eeking the max out of everything, specially as I don't need it (I have just made my stupidly fast bike even faster so that's just the way it is) :D

How can I change the voltage on both cards?

The voltage might be locked on the BIOS of the 5870, you could always flash it to an Asus one to allow voltage changes.
