I was just speaking to a friend over in Germany and he said that the government are currently working on plans to censor the Internet there (Same technology as China (Who are outsourcing it all over the world!)). But he said they are also going to be restricting its usage to between 6:00 to 22:00 as well.
Now I'm not expert on the subject (Obviously) and I have only his word to go by, but doesn't this seem completely ridiculous? If it is true, what possible advantage would come from removing Internet access for the night? People would go to bed earlier? How is that much of an advantage to the government of a country whose ability to function relies on 24/7 communication (Just as any other country)?
I'm confused? Can you see an advantage?
