ati 10.3's, when ?

you could try editing the xml file created when you make a profile.

enable overdrive, create and save (but don't activate) the profile.

navigate to c:/users/*username*/app data/local/ati/ace/profiles

open the xml for the profile you've created

find the lines which say "coreclocktarget" "memclocktarget" "corevoltagetarget" and change the numbers so that want_0 is the same as want_1 for each of those 3 things. save the file, then activate in CCC.

Yup, I haven't been using that method, I did with my 4870x2/4890, because it wasn't working on first couple drivers from the 5850 as it would still kick in powerplay.

I only used it on the old cards as a couple games windowed wouldn't kick it out of 2d clocks, like Lotro, so I forced 3d clocks in one profile and had powerplay clocks in another so I could switch between the two.

I just get gpu clock tool shortcut in the startup menu, so it will open on screen automatically, from there its one click and close and I'm sorted.

does anyone have info on driver regarding BFBC2, i sure hope there are more FPS to be had for that game :(

It should be running fine with crossfire 4870's, have you altered the ingame settings, if you have try them at default and just set your screen resolution to its native.

It could be your cpu holding your graphics cards back.

anybody know if these will include a fix for the multiple monitor overclocking bug that's restricting me overclocking my 5770 because i have two screens?

in bfbc2 for me my avg fps seem to have increased from high 50s to high 60s. And thats everything maxed out, 16xAF 8xAA @ 1920x1080

Core i7 @ 4.0Ghz
ATI Radeon HD5870 (stock settings)
6 Gb Corsair XMS3 C7 @ 1600Mhz

I just put them on, Drit 2 gains are excellent. 5870 with a 3.6 Q6600. I play at 1080p 4x AA everything maxed

10.1 (i think): 55fps avg
10.3: 65fps avg
10.3 + new dirt patch: 70fps avg - and it's cured the horrible vsync stutter too - happy! :D

Anyone noticed gains in other games? Do we think this is a 10-20% boost across the board? Impressive update either way :)
