If Rats were running about with my kids I'd shoot them as well!

Does the Ratcatcher gun nail them pretty quick? Or would the bullet/projectile "bounce" of a particularly hard Rat? ie a Daddy Rat

I was actually thinking the same thing. I don't care much for rats and certainly don't care that one was killed. However, what I find slightly alarming is that the OP got a buzz/high from killing a living thing.

btw you can have to much power on a gun to you know but i cant be assed to go in to it now so the rat catcher is good for shooting rats at close range and the one i shot was hence i used my rat catcher.

i live in headington area.

i do a lot of other shooting normaly just cant get out at the moment but normaly shoot

rats,rabbits,pigeons etc etc.

You can have too much power granted but you need enough beans to make your rifles accurate at range and enough to penetrate a dense rat.

all so true yes....but the rat catcher is made to shoot rats i use flat head pallets for some wicked stopping power
