which one should i get? i need it to replace my antec 1200 which too big for my new space. I know both case require additional fans so i was looking at the Xilence red wings and really pack out wither case with them so my rig stays cool.

I have the Fractal. Absolutely great case. I bought an extra 140mm fan for the roof, now running 2 x 120mm in the front. Corsair H50 fan out the back. Cable management is very good and the materials inside seem to absorb a lot of noise. Case looks very slick too. Would recommend.

Personally the fractal is a really good case, built one not to long ago for a friend. Plus for the extra cooling fans, on the fractal case page you can buy extra matching fans for it below the spec of the case :D

Yeah temps are good. The air does go through fine. You have to take also the enviroment in your room and where you place the case.

If its next to a radiator its goin to kick up a stink, no matter what fans. The push plenty of air. Ideally i built with this case.

2 Front - Intake
1 Rear - Exhaust
PSU is another exhaust if you got an exhaust fan on it
And also if you got a 3rd party cooler for the cpu face it so it blows heat through the exhaust.

Plus w/e extra fans you want i would personally have intake.

Imo i would say no. Yeah heat rises but the exhaust one wont capture all the heat. Exhausting heat doesnt cool down the system, only intaking. 1 exhaust on the back + your PSU hopefully can exhaust with a fan grill inside will be adequate. Remember, you want the most cold air you can get in the case :)

i think im going to order one today hopefully it should arrive by wednesday. i hope im making the right decision if not i still have my antec 1200 lol

Can't speak for the CM690II but I recently invested in a Fractal R2 and it's a great case. The fans are quiet (2 intake at the front, 2 exhaust at the top with a Corsair H50), cable layout is very neat, it's a sturdy case and best of all it looks cool (perfect if you don't like flashy cases). :)

I have a CM690II. Everthing is fine, except it is not windowed and you might need some dust filter or dustproof case fan for the side panel...

R2 for me, i use 2 front intake fans and 1 rear exhaust.

I don't have a True myself, but I'm sure it would fit.

The CM690II also looks a good case, so down to which one you like the best ;)
