Online Motor Factors

Anyone got a good online motor factors who actually respond to enquiries?

The leveller motor on the GT has died and although there is a thread on the AlfaOwner forum about making a fix to it I'd just like to replace the motor itself.

I've been advised that the motor is Bosch part number 0307853303 so want to get a couple and have a garage swap them out (Should be less than £20 ea by all accounts). Alfa don't sell the motors on their own, you have to pay for an entire headlight which costs a small fortune!

So can anyone recommend an online supplier?

Have you tried EB Spares? There is also Shop4Parts but I had a few dodgy suspension bits off of there and they were unwilling to help so I'm not sure I'd order again.

Edit: Also you could try Autolusso, they have been very helpful in the past.

Not had much luck with these. Most won't even look for the bosch part and just stick to the Alfa line of you need a complete assembly

Try Central Auto Supplies. Worked for them for a while and can order most bosch stuff theres one in b'ham which isnt that far to drive if you order over phone and pay when collect. Just an idea.

Had a word with old boss at centrals its 22+Vat however Bosch is out of stock so they cant get it at moment and have no idea if/when in stock

Wow thanks for that mate. Damn shame they aren't in stock but thanks for trying. Hopefully I can disconnect it and get it manually adjusted until they come in stock. My MOT is due at the end of the month.

even though the website is utter tosh buypartsby are not bad..

i've got two strut top bearings on the way to me, quite cheaply too.

scrappers or ebay? pot luck, but I don't know of any italian MF's

about two days which did make me think twice about ordering, that ontop of gypo website but they came on recommendation from a friend who wouldn't dick me about so..

take from that what you will. lol

Managed to find one in Finland which is costing me £33, hopefully should be here in a few days!
