Look what i bought last night!!

The wheels are standard R33 GTR ones which have been painted white. For now they will do until i can afford to get some better ones on there :)

The asking price was £7000 but i paid £6400 in the end, which is a bloody bargain.

Only thing that needs doing to it are CV joint gaitor on the front drivers side and front pads are low, but gives me an excuse to upgrade as standard ones are **** as it is, also my R33 GTST is for sale if anyones interested? PM me and i will send details and its going mega cheap as i need the money!!!

Looks ace, and with 500+ bhp it must be great fun. Gunmetal wheels would look much better though. Thumbs up from me.
 
Looks bloody awesome, 500bhp is not to be sniffed at! Only thing I would change would be the wheels for something with some dish, or get those ones powdercoated in a nice gunmetal or something, stand out too much currently.
 
Do the drivetrains on these handle the power well? Are the gearboxes Getrag ones like the Supra? I seem to remember them being made by someone reputable. OS Giken maybe?

Yeah gearbox can handle around 650bhp maybe a bit more depending on condition, they are made by Nissan.

The R34 GTR has a 6 speed Getrag box though.

You can buy an OS Giken gear set for around £8k though... Worth more than my car lol

Very over rated? A near 20 year old car that makes around 300bhp as standard, is over rated?

Ever driven one? Been in one? Been near one? GTRs have been scaring a lot more expensive exotica for a very very long time now.. I wouldn't call that over rated.
 
LOL, one of the most legendary cars ever made is actually overrated rubbish, what a revelation.

Will get it up as soon as mate :) It is pretty smooth until the top end then gets a bit wobbly as it was mapped for safety.

Nice example of a GT-R there D-Ranged even if it is overrated, I mean it's such a shame it only has 515bhp. Should have bought an '09 Avensis. :p
