Briton is recognised as world's first officially genderless person

Does that mean they have both parts or no parts at all and if they have both parts can they do stuff with both parts like put one part in the other part?

lol wut

Norrie May-Welby, 48, was born a man but had a sex change operation in 1990, at the age of 28.
After becoming unhappy as a woman, May-Welby decided to become a “neuter”. The 48-year-old is now officially recognised as a person of no specific gender.
So, he's a man...a fickle man.

As far as I'm concerned gender is something that never changes, regardless of what you've got swinging around down there you are what you were born as.

Technically and legally, one cannot alter the birth certificate as it is not only a legal document, more importantly, it is a historical document. It is why transexuals in this country, after they have the operations, they can get a new passport, driving licence etc in their new gender, they cannot change their birth certificate. It is also why they cannot get married to another, i.e. if a woman change to a man and then "marries" another woman, they can only have a civil partnership. As The Matrimonial Act states a marriage can only be between a Man and Woman.

As for the guy in the article, surely his chromosomes will tell us what sex he is?
