Does anybody have this case or motherboard? I installed the motherboard yesterday but when I press the on/off button nothing happens. The led on the board is green. Is it the case or the motherboard?

Have the same case but in silver and works flawless with a biostar th55xe motherboard but i dont think that helps you much i presume you have plugged the imon power extension cable in and have double checked the motherboard is wired/plugged in correctly.

Not sure how competent you are with pcs but,
Just a quick thought have you tried contacting the 2 power pins on the mobo with a screw driver or a spare jumper? that should help you decide if the case has a dodgey power switch or if it is indeed the motherboard.

thank you for your help, i will try the test with the screwdriver. i took the mobo back to the shop today where they tested to see if it's ok. it booted up without any problems so it's either the on/off switch or the dodgey power

i guess it's the power, i contacted the pins on the mobo with a screwdriver and nothing happens. the strange thing is that the green led on the mobo is on.

i've had the same thing happen to a rampage formula... never found out what the problem was so presumed the board was dead :(

i'm gonna follow this thread just in case you get it sorted, hopefully i can rescue that mobo :)

good luck

Hmm no more ideas really , i presume your running or trying to run the motherboard via the onboard gfx and not something crazy like a high end gfx card as the supplied psu is only a 300w delta electronics matx?

don't worry, i am using the onboard gfx. i am going to get a new power supply this morning, will let you know if it solved the problem

Far as i remember you just need to plug in the 24 pin psu extension cable and the usb cable on the case connected to a usb header on the motherboard, then just the imon software installed on windows.
