Yesterday was one of those days.
I was in our IT Store Room and reached behind a pile of computers to unplug a Dell power supply for a colleague from the training annex. Anyway as I reach behind the computers there is a loud crack and my arm shoots back. I got a electric shock that has left my arm numb and in some pain.
Later in the day I was commenting on how bad the female firefighters (new recruits) look I got the message (wrongly) that I had insulted my line managers new girlfriend and slumped in my chair in embarrassment and proceeded to fall of my chair banging my neck as I did so. I am on the floor with my neck hurting and everybody in the office including my boss is laughing their backsides off at me.
I've just filled out the accident form for the former. I won't bother with the latter.
I hope today goes a bit better.
