Happy Saint Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day, now where is that remote till I turn this plastic paddy rubbish over.

Think you've got it bad? I'm staying well away from all the parks today just to be sure! Everything goes St Patrick's mad in the US (and Canada)

Happy St. Patrick's! :)

PS - so as not to be a complete misery guts, I did have mint choc chip ice cream yesterday! Well, it is green! :D

St Patrick's day doesn't happen round here and if it did I would not have a problem with it. I just can't stand the whole Plastic Paddy thing, all these people that claim to be Irish and have probably never spent more than a few week in the Island. It becomes a bit over the top.

I will be celebrating with Guinness for one quarter of a day, 6 hours, handily from 6pm until midnight, to reflect the fact my Grandad is Irish and so I am one quarter Irish :p

whats this day for then ? for the irish drink so they can forget they are irish and the english drink to celebrate not being irish ?

Amusing to see the same tired old rhetoric from the same saddo's that this thread got last year. Get a life girls.

Got one.

Still don't care if it's St Patricks day though.

And you feel the need to post in a thread to something you don't care about? Will the world stop revolving unless you divulge this fact that clearly HAS to be known?

Smells a bit more like this actually:

Riiiight.

I think it's fair enough. If you're from Ireland I imagine the situation is different, but over here all St P's Day is is an excuse for idiots to wear Irish colours [when they aren't Irish themselves or have very remote Irish ancestry somewhere which is about 90% of us] and get knocked out their brains on Guinness. In short, here it's just yet ANOTHER excuse for people to get drunk and act like morons.

Went for a few jars yesterday with a paddy to celebrate with him.

Today the world is very bright and too loud.

Where's a potato famine when you need one

 attempt at humour is appauling are you the kind of person who sits and moans about everything in life?

It's a good weekend to get drunk and party what's not to like?

here

Failshop, more like. I thought Kahn's post was slightly amusing, if only inappropriate because most people who celebrate St P's Day here are not Irish.
