Did these generally come with air con as standard or was that a Climate option. Also, was there a bluetooth or ipod connectivity option on these as I can't find any info on that.

Cheers

The climate pack comes with heated front windscreen and A/C. Pretty sure it was an additional option.

The bluetooth thing is apart of the Technology pack i think. Which has automatic wing mirrors and bluetooth, there is more but I'm not sure.

What's the difference between climate control & a/c?

Generally A/C is just like a heater knob, you twist it for cold and for hot, the air is all conditioned.

Climate controll is A?C but you can select to have it at say 26 degrees or 16 degrees or 32 degrees or pretty much any temperature you want.

Can also select a temperature and click auto and it'll regulate the air in the car at that temperature.

I have no idea if I have that or not. :p

Though it does say the temperature on the screen so I assume I do?

/noob

Air conditioning + Electric Auto Temperature Control (EATC) was standard on the ST220 so I should hope so. If you can set the temperature it's CC, if you can't it's just a thermometer :p

I finally understand why Climate is awesome. In my car I have the standard turn a nob and keep adjusting it, and it was Sunny but cold last week, so in shade, put heat up, in sun it got too hot and so turned it down. This cycle went on tediously for an hour.

It seems I am the only one in the house that doesn't have climate in their car.

Worth the extra £200 or so to spec it from new over A/C for sure. I have duel zone climate control so I can have it on 30 degrees and my passenger on 16 degrees if they wanted. I know some luxary cars have 4 zone so the rear passengers can control their own temperature as well.

Climate it will be then.

I've been poking through the equipment guide on Parkers and from the looks of it Bluetooth & MP3 are options only vailable on the (05) version which I think is from the latter half of 2005. Anyone correct me on that if i'm wrong.

I bought it second hand so didn't have a choice. It is surprisingly well specced for a Fiesta though. Special edition called "Black" also a "Silver" special edition exists. Does well enough for the short journeys I make around town. :)

I got mine second hand as well but after having it in my car now for a year I think it would be one of the option extras I'd want on any second hand car I buy from now on, including cruise control.

On an associated note... The 2007 faclift Fiesta has those odd bumps on the headlights as seen on the Micra. What's the point of them?

I don't know the reason for them but I can't stand them.

The next car will be in the same league as the rest of the family, and will be specced up similarly. But for now it looks like this is the best car for the job as I can leave it anywhere without fear or worry it will get damaged.

I must say though, since using all the nice options in other cars, it does feel a bit empty. I love bluetooth that integrates with Sat Nav so you can navigate to people from your current location by just clicking on their name in the phone book on screen and then which of their addresses you like e.g house or work.
