Morons who dislike being overtaken

Have you thought that maybe your definition of dangerous isn't dangerous at all, and it is you who is scared and/or inexperienced/unconfident behind the wheel ?

;)

Have you considered that there might be idiots out there who drive dangerously?

Neither, it's being overtaken in a way that strikes me as dangerous.

So you get annoyed because your perception of danger differs to others?

Stunt men must make your blood boil, they make a living out of doing dangerous things.

I personally won't care, but if an idiot is driving up my arse, I will put the breaks on. I won't be forced above the speed limit for anyone

Or you could use the brakes. :p

When im chilling out ill indicate left to let people know its clear to pass on NSL (as ill be doing 50) as following a van its hard to see to pass unless your told its clear. Happens quite a lot on the big straights around the Buxton area, getting paranoid about the scamera vans.

Usually get a wave or flash of indicators to say thanks too.

Doesn't matter, you have to keep proper distance and behave on the road.

That doesn't mean because you think you can, you can thrash the **** out of any car you get your hands on.

I never seem to get those that try and speed up while im overtaking them (I just kick in vtec y0 for the overtake so i wouldn't really notice if they did speed up (in the average car)), but I HATE those that will do 40-50 in a NSL until they are overtaken then sit on your arse!

I think British people should be sent abroad, lets say to Poland to learn how to drive. In Poland it is very common to overtake all the time due to many main roads being single carriageways.

I don't think that most of the time it is even worth overtaking in UK due to the amount of cars. Lets say the roads are quite full in here most of the time.

This sort of thing and road rage seems to prevalent here in mucho quantity. I remember when I was in India some 7 years ago, they drive like complete arses over there where cutting up is the norm but it's just generally accepted that even if your cars only an inch in front of the other you've somehow got right of way. Also I found over there that when overtaking the person being overtaken slows down a bit and moves their car as far left as they can go, over here people purposely will perform a blocking tactic just so that nobody else can get in front.

Im saying it annoys me and i dont understand why they do it for very little gain.

Some people just don't like driving in traffic.
If there's only one or two cars separating me from an open road then I'll likely overtake it/them; regardless of whether they're doing the speed limit or not.

Given that I've driven a fair amount in Slovakia I disagree entirely with what you are saying.

Everything (bar the motorway around Bratislava) was far more relaxed.
