why is delivery SO expensive!

so i was looking at getting the OCZ Alchemy keyboard which is like £9.99, i was thinking nice but why is the delivery nearly as expensive as the keyboard !?! its like £8.25 just to get it delivered - now that is way too expensive just for 1 item

Keep active here and after 3 months and 250 total posts posts (3 more for you) delivery is always free

The reason it is so expensive is that they use a courier to send out the package - since a keyboard is relatively large - it will cost a decent amount to ship with a courier. However, you may be able to chose cheaper delivery (after you have gone to checkout) and select royal mail.

thats a good idea shame i have not been a member for 3 months

i guess i will have to buy them from else where and wait til i have been a member for 3months
and then i will start ordering a few more things : such as new LED fans, a second hard drive and maybe a bluray drive

wow im retarded iv had over 250 posts for a good while and only realised just now i havnt linked my account. thats like 3 or 4 orders iv not had free postage on lol. well its done now

Thats true but so wanted my keyboard and/or mouse but at the cost it would be better to look at local shops - even if i would prefer to buy from here

It's a shame the ireland prices went up so much, but for us on the mainland it's great.

I get free delivery, OcUK get a lot of loyalty from me. I also find it more enjoyable to shop knowing the "total" I can see at the side is what I'll pay... there's no trying to add on £2 to each of five items and see if it still works out cheaper, or would that one be better, should I wait until I want to get more items etc.etc.etc.

Everyone wins.

You will soon be able to take advantage of it, is is a great offer and i will always use ocuk now for all upgrade needs especially cpu stuff as their bundles are spot on. They have turned a corner with kit in the last year or so the range is massive and the overclok3ed bundles should be what they push at the most.

actually it was more like £830 give or take.
i could do that but i might as well wait
i will get a cheap keyboard and mouse now and once i get free shipping
