new pair of pants for the Renault driver please....

This is how it happens, its in his blind spot:

Someone should have alerted him at least. Guess its just the issue of bystander syndrome.

Exactly, how likely is it going to be that the driver is genuinely bonkers or he just doesn't realise. Given the sheer wieght of these trucks, it's easy to see how the driver just wouldn't notice and doing something about it would save someones life.

Ermmm...
The motorway in front of that lorry is empty whilst the opp carrigway is busy, the car recording seems to be recording at the right time, at the right place etc also seems that the car has some kit in the back?

I say it was staged.

What **** articles by both news agencies, both just "hey look at this video we found". Nothing to add whatsoever.

And the daily mail saying:"The driver apparently emerged unhurt when the lorry driver eventually stopped."

And their use of the word "Fast Lane".

it's just been shown on BBC news 24. according to the report it was investigated by the plod who decided to take no action, and it was investigated by the haulage company as well, who have decided to reinvestigate the incident now that they've had chance to see the footage posted on youtube.
