No new emails Windows Live / Hotmail

I'm not recieving email into my hotmail.com account and neither is my dad into his live office account.

I've reported this to them by email but can't find anything on the web about this. Is anyone else having trouble?
 
For some reason I'm getting the following error when connecting to my hotmail through Outlook at the moment: "The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator is the problem persists."

It's never had an issue before, so I'm guessing it's just a random issue at their end.
 
Thanks for pointing this out! been waiting on a few emails arriving this afternoon - appears im not recieving any either. Sent a test email from work to it and its a no show :(
 
I had this once, I had set it to only receive emails from people in the contacts, of which there were none :D
 
Hotmail's SMTP servers crashed this afternoon. I ended up taking a **** load of support calls for blackberry on it. They had not timescale for a fix as of 16:00 today.
 
I'm surprised people still use hotmail/live. I got my first Gmail account when the invitation beta was just a few weeks old and never looked back since.
 
Yeah, i just keep mine for spam, but i spoke to a user today who used it as her business account and had 37500 mail in her inbox....... nightmare
 
Had a large delay in my emails today, sent one from my other address this morning and it just came through now.

Assuming they have some server problems.
