Ok just tried downloading these for my laptop (mobility HD4850). All I get is a page cannot be displayed error.

Does anyone know of another mirror other than the AMD underground one?

These drivers have a couple more features than the ones sent to be WHQL, so essentially they are newer than the official 10.3's that will be released later.

Anyone had the chance to try them with a 4890?

No performance increase that I can see, although I don't have Dirt2. Unigine Heaven running about the same as always.

They haven't broken anything though.

Some benchmarks on my system ([email protected]/5870 1gb/4gb ram/win7-64bit):

Was going to run the stalker CS and CoP benchmarks but they take too long.

Seems about right I think? Maybe not that big an increase since most games are CPU limited to a certain degree.

Heaven increases are approximately 10% over Cat 10.2's for my 5850 @ 1000/1200.

10.2's
1680x1050 = 44.7
1920x1200 = 39.5

10.3's
1680x1050 = 50.0 (11.85% gain)
1920x1200 = 43.6 (10.37% gain)

Dirt 2 now sticks at 60fps on Max settings @ 1920x1200. On 10.2's there were noticeable drops with vsync enabled.

just downloaded the 'preview' 10.3 drivers (whatever that means!!) and all seems good. i'm only on a 5770 but seen a def increase in fps on bfbc2 online. not massive but hey not gonna complain
