Almost had me tempted..until i remembered i don't have £16.74 to spare plus that 68/100 metacritic score is a tad off-putting. Guess there has to be a reason for the sale though

Oooh, lucky, lucky, lucky! I nearly splashed out for this yesterday at £24.99. Then I was going to get it from play for £17.99 on Monday. I really liked the SP even if it was ridiculously short. But I suspect any longer and I would have been edging towards bored.

ffs just got this the other day for 18 quid and had to wait near a week for delivery...i know it's only a couple of quid but still.

and 2 weeks ago i ordered left for dead 2 for about 28 quid for my niece ...just for it to drop to 10 quid.

oh well hopefully others can benefit.....damn steam!

Half! It's 1.6 times mine. We don't upgrade because it works out cheaper to pay £1 a gig over the 10Gb limit most of the time than pay for another option - we can only get 3.5kbps here Games like this take me a day or two to download...


On topic I really should open the copy I bought the other day it's still lying on the floor and I got it for £25

The marine single player is awesome, just the alien and predator campaigns which are WAY too short. Multiplayer is fun but theres still really dodgy dedicated server support which let it down

The single player is ok, and the multi player can be really good fun if you can keep your connection.

Well it normally wouldn't bother me with games that I know I'm going to get some enjoyment from but this game seems to be hit and miss and the low metascore doesn't help either. Knowing it will take hours to download just puts me off.

Well, in the real world £16.74 = € 18.36.

In steam land, apparently it equals € 33.49.

I know the likes of Gimpy would get it and gift it to me, but given the level of pure cheek involved I think they can just stuff it.
