Right, I know all of you guys here really recommend the ASUS 5850 but I've still got my eye on that 5850 Black Edition from XFX. Main reason being that my current card is from XFX and I think ther double lifetime warranty if superb. Also I can pick one up for £253.77 inc P&P in a today only offer from, I hate to say it, a competitor... sorry OCUK :(. Anyway let me know what you think. I'm really tempted... I mean REALLY tempted.

OR

Should I just stick with my 9800GT "xXx". I mainly play Flight Simulator X and run at 1920 x 1080 on a 23" monitor.

Also considering the standard clocked Sapphire card as I've just noticed that XFX only offers the double lifetime warranty in North America :S

Given the Asus HD5850 would save you in the region of £30 over the XFX card I would give it serious consideration.

The Voltage tweak overclocking option is also a great bonus on the Asus card (out of the box).

Ahhhhh so many to chose from. I pretty sure I read somewhere that there are a few problems with the Asus card? I like the look of Sapphire's Toxic edition... very nice.

Right, I've narrowed it down to 4 cards. XFX's 5850 Black, PowerColor's 5850 PCS+, Sapphire's 5850 Toxic and Asus' 5850. Help me choose??? Ta.

Mate, the asus 5850 is the one to get. 3 Years warrenty, can overclock like mad where the others can't. The black edition is nothing special, it comes pre-overclocked, you can do that through the ati's control center for gods sake :p
It comes pre-overclocked, and its not a big oc either :(

Asus all the way mate....

I would go the asus route too, if not then go for the pcs+ as i've heard its a decent overclocker too.

The voltage tweak tech with the asus is covered under warranty according to a review i read so even if you kill it using that you should be ok for a replacement.
