I skipped half the thread so this might have been addressed already but i'm confused.
You say she was his girlfriend but then later say they met in the pub. Was she actually his girlfriend, as in some kind of notable relationship, or was she just some girl he'd pulled in the pub a couple of hours beforehand and was about to go home and nail?

Yeah I saw she was married but that doesn't really answer the 'they met in the pub' bit, tbh to me it sounds like she wasn't really a girlfriend in the sense most of us would think, sounds more like some random woman he picked up in the bar earlier that evening, rather than someone he'd been seeing for the last 3 months or something.

I certainly wouldn't call someone my girlfriend having just met in pub, but maybe other people develop their relationships much faster than I do

Good for you. If more people got clocked for failing to keep their hands to themselves the world would be a better place.
To the OP: kissing your mates girl is a rookie error, you should at least do the dirty to make the guilt worthwhile. Duh!

If you took him pinching her bum as a direct insult to YOU, as in that the bloke was doing it as some kind of disrespect to you and trying to put one over you 'using your wife' to get to you - this is an extremely common way of a person being diagnosed as a psychopath. In fact most psycopaths are 'discovered' by the authorities by exactly this kind of behaviour. The fact your very 'level headed' normally but occasionally can't help but do violence actually bodes extremely badly on the 'psycopath' front. Sorry fella.
If not (so you didn't feel the insult was actually against you), it just means you're a horrible, horrible person. Hitting someone because he pinches your wive's backside? What are you going to do to the person who ACTUALLY REALLY disrespects you in some way? When some stranger is ACTUALLY a bit nasty to you in the pub.
I'll tell you exactly what is going to happen.. you're going to glass him, then when he's on the floor screaming with bits of glass sticking out of his head, you're going to go out side, then come back in the pub carrying a concrete paving slab, which you throw onto his head, collapsing it. For the next 3 weeks you'll tell the exact truth, you won't be able to remember the incident at all. Then you'll spend 22 years in prison or in Broadmoor.
