Let me get this straight, you kissed your friend's 'girlfriend' who is at the same time (married with kids) and cheating on her husband with your friend? To be honest as messed up as the whole situation is, for your friend to consider hitting you over it when he's done and is doing much worse is a bit hypocritical.

If someone kissed my wife, knowing she was my wife, they'd get a right hook. It's bang out of order to do that to someone.
If someone kissed my wife and didn't know we were together, I wouldn't do anything to him, he wasn't to know the situation so he can't be blamed.
In both cases my wife would no longer by my wife. Some things in a relationship are forgiveable, that's not one of them IMO.

If one of my mates kissed my girlfriend, whether overreacting or not my first instinct would be to lamp the friend, and make it clear to him that he was no longer any friend of mine. Secondly I'd tell my gf to do one. Why the **** would any one want to 'make their friend jealous'?! That's nice.

In this instance I would have punched the OP straight in the face*. If it was a random who didn't know she was in a relationship then obviously I wouldn't do anything to him. The G/F would be the ex-g/f in both instances aswell.

Dump the girlfriend? I've hit lads for downright pushing boundaries knowing she has a boyfriend. A lad from her uni group who wouldn't stop texting her asking her for "dirty messages" after he got her number during groupwork. She had to change her phone number because of it. It's disgusting behaviour. They need putting in their place.

Dont agree, Im 28 and would class myself as a very level headed professional but I would have seen the red mist on this occassion.
Last year me and my gf were out and we were walking through a crowded bar holding hands, she walked past this bloke who pinched her bum and it was like a red flag to a bull.
