Do you have to be using only the shotgun to get the relevant upgrades? Because I'm not sure given the usefullness of the standard one how many kills I'l be able to rack up to get to the magnum/slug combo!
 
OK then, what do you want me to do with this server? You do not want Hard Core Rush, so it is now Hard Core Conquest! :) Map rotation

The name is: Drunk Champ HARDCORE 24/7


If you have any sugestions how to populate this server speak up, if not it will be dead in few days. I won't pay for the server that is empty all the time.

Disconnected just before the end of the round nine times out of ten, This is a f'kn joke!!

I play for fun but not ranking up and unlocking weapons because of random connection issues is a pain in the @rse.

Neat little trick me and DcDx have been using:

Turning the UAV into one big C4 fyling bomb, attach lots of C4 to the UAV then skillfuly fly it into an M-COM station :D

Was playing with Assassin if he's on here, saved your ass a few times ;)

I've never seen so many people running on the spot and crashing since release than tonight, Great work DICE,

We had a full server then a crash, 8 came back and now its empty, this game is slowly starting to kill itself i fear

Also since the other providers enabled all their servers there are less full servers and more with 8/32 on them, again this is a poor show :(

Glad we only paid for 3 months at this rate

problem is probly that theres too many servers for players, and like you say the crashin is very annoying so you start looking for others.

honestly heres my tip and ive been doing it a while .

you need to promote your server EVERYWHERE !

then you need to stick to what you doing no matter how bad it seems. this is where most go wrong with there servers. they get a player base start off good then struggle . keep at it and it will come but its not easy and dont expect full servers over night . some get lucky and do get full servers off the bat but they have one either got a player base already to populate it or they have a clan or they promote it well or have got extremely lucky and fluked it

like said those who have busy servers put the work in to get em busy best thing is to start them ealry in morning. do this regular and you will get a player base as most wont do it but it isnt easy so be prepared . good luck with the server you can do it.
 
Some good games tonight guys on the OCUK BFBC2 server

This game could really use a scramble feature to try to balance the teams a little though, I got bored with winning each round we played so I swapped team halfway in, but eveen then it only started to even out a bit towards the end of the game time.

Does anyone know if the gadget weapons count as part of the bronze star all weapons award? I've bronzed everything on the 'weapons' page except garrand (im close though) but I daubt a veteran weapon would count as that would be unfair to no vets, and tracer dart (which I don't think you can bronze star). If gadgets count, then I hope its just the actual weapons, which mean I still need 40mm shotgun and AT min, if it includes defib kills and such then ill ignore the award.

Thanks mate, I've reverted the server to HC rush again. My server is up since the game release and it had ups and downs. Last few days there is no interest in it at all, that is why I decided I won't pay for it any more (if it stays empty). There is quite a lot of servers these days. It seems like there is no need for another UK hardcore server.

other tactic is to do a simlar thing with C4 on a quad bike.

against tanks, you can just speed into it as fast as you can, you'll die but you'll also get a quad kill most times.

if you're attacking on rush you can drive it towards their line, jump off and detonate as the bike carries on going.

or if your the John Mclane of the quad bike world, put it through a whole in a wall, or door, and then blow it.

maybe not as sofisticated as your ideas, but fun none the less
