kissed a mates girlfriend last night

Way too much adolescent drama in this thread.

For me, it would depend on how my girlfriend reacted and how drunk she was. A couple of drunken fools trying to make me jealous isn't a big deal to me. People often do silly things when they're drunk.

Some people are talking as if the other man had damaged a possession of theirs. Very ugly attitudes.

looks like i am in for it. Got a text from a mutual friend asking if i was coming tonight. Told him i was lieing low and didn't want to get beat up on a friday or saturday and he just replied "ok"

Just be a man, face up to it and take your medicine.

Get out, get it over with and move on, don't sit dwelling on it for days as in your head it will be 10 times worse than what the real event will be.

Hell you never know you might even lay him out :D

I didn't know punching people was an accepted form of communication.

Just for the record I wouldn't cheat on my other half whether it was for a laugh or not but I know the moment he lashed out at someone he'd be an ex. I don't do physical violence for any reason. It's just unattractive and slightly scary.

As for the OP, you're an idiot. You deserve to be told to FO, you just don't do that to friends. If she had been an unknown then you could be let off for not realising but in your situation you wouldn't be my mate any longer.

I've never understood the brute force mentallity either really

I used to go out to 'club bars' a fair bit a few years ago...and my mate would just get nudged in theback all the time, he'd end up fuming sometimes cause he was actually doing nout wrong...lol, and this was with NO girl involved, just people out for a fight (Which is a different situation entirely yes I know)...

But I'd just end up swapping places with him, when it came to them nudging me I'd just chuckle under my breath really...I just found it terribly sad yet really amusing people 'go out' to do that sort of thing just to get a reaction.

Anyway...Has the OP actually said if they were 'serious' partners yet? What with the whole marriage thing with the female etc?

Fair point.

I contradict myself here but I do think given the right circumstances everyone can be disloyal.

Think outside the box, in a normal, no drink situation this won't have happened. I been in this situation myself and tried it on with sum1 before alcohol and after alcohol.

Outcome was when she was sober she wasn't interested. Alcohol involved she was all over me. Alcohol really is the cause of crap in most instances!

You should have gone up to him and said "Now time to make <girls name> jelous" and gone in to snog him :p

I would never try anything if i knew a girl had a bf. Never mind if the bf was my mate :o
If i was the OP tho i would go up to the mate, close my eyes and say not the nose, lol, after all it's what you should have got.

Your lucky he was ok tho, i take it seems as she already has a husband she is always cheating on him anyway so he looks at her more as abit of fun?

But realy, your both $£""% it's pretty bad to mess with a girl that has a bf, but to mess with somones wife is asking for trouble

hehe i got away with it, mate realised i was ****ed bought him a few beers and all was good :D

Probably not as simple as that. I would hazard a guess that in the future, if he ever gets the chance to screw you over, i'm sure he won't hesitate...

Dump the girlfriend? I've hit lads for downright pushing boundaries knowing she has a boyfriend. A lad from her uni group who wouldn't stop texting her asking her for "dirty messages" after he got her number during groupwork. She had to change her phone number because of it. It's disgusting behaviour. They need putting in their place.

My girlfriend is amazing to me, she's been with me for the last year of my life through hell, who are you to say dump her? You don't know her. Idiot.

There are far better ways of 'destroying' someone without having to resort to violence, you'd be surprised what can be accomplished with a bit of internet sleuthing.

That said, you pop your collar, so that would probably be slightly beyond you.
