I got 802.11G 54MBPS WIRELESS PCI ADAPTER and it worked fine on Win 7.

After I installed XP pro I am not able to use it, I have no disc to install the software, so I am asking your help and advice.

Device Manager ->Network Adapters I only see realtek RTL8161C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E GBN NIC card.

I presume this is not my wireless one, but integrated one on my GA-P31-ES3G Gigabyte mobo?

When I wire it up with cable the net works fine instantly, but I don't understand why Windows can't find my wireless card? It doesn't even bring an option to choose.

Cheers

Because the drivers included with Windows XP pre-date your wireless card, so it's probably sat there in Device Manager showing as an Unknown Device.

You need to download appropriate drivers from the card (or chipset) manufacturer. We can't tell you who that is, 802.11G 54MBPS WIRELESS PCI ADAPTER is just a generic description of the card, it's not a model or manufacturer name.
